Oh, it was the strangest thing. I was in this absolutely *gorgeous* garden, you know? Like something out of a Botticelli painting, all soft light and roses the colour of blushing cheeks. The air itself felt like a gentle caress, and I had this profound sense of yearning, of wanting to just *sink* into absolute beauty and connection, to feel everything intensely and lovingly. I was almost floating, feeling so open and ready forโฆ well, for *everything*. But then, out of nowhere, there was this tiny, minuscule soldier, no bigger than my thumb, marching stiffly across a petal. He was so ridiculously serious, all tiny uniform and even tinier, perfectly polished boots, clanking away like a microscopic nuisance in my perfect, sensual paradise.
He was just so *unnecessary*. Every time I tried to feel the warmth of the sun on my skin, or breathe in the sweet perfume of the jasmine, there he was, doing his little drill, interrupting the vibe. He wasn't threatening, justโฆ intrusive. Like a tiny, rigid little fear of letting go, or maybe a tiny, obsessive thought about 'order' in a place that just needed pure, flowing beauty. So, with this incredibly gentle but firm resolve, I simply picked him up โ very carefully, of course โ and deposited him with a little *plink* into a nearby birdbath, like he was a stray pebble. He looked so surprised, doing his little marching in the water, and I just felt this immediate, profound sense of relief. Ahh, pure, uninterrupted enchantment once more. My beautiful garden, free to just *be*.
