Dream of the Day
Mood: cheerful | Archetype: Everyman
Elements: hushed army tickle
Oh, what a lovely, silly dream I just had! I woke up with this ridiculous, cheerful grin on my face. I was just... standing in a perfectly ordinary field, under a perfectly ordinary blue sky, feeling quite myself, you know? And then there was an army. Not a scary, marching, imposing army, but a vast, silent, almost shy one. They were all standing at attention, perfectly still, looking a bit lost, really, like they were waiting for someone to tell them what to do, but no one was, and it was so quiet, almost too quiet for such a big gathering.
And then, just little old me, felt a gentle urge to do something. So, naturally, I started tickling them! I went right up to the front row, to a soldier who looked particularly stiff and solemn, and just reached out and gave a little tickle under his arm. A ripple went through the ranks โ shoulders started to shake, then chests, until suddenly, the whole hushed army erupted into the most glorious, uncontrollable giggling fit. Helmets tumbled, spears clattered, and the field was filled with this joyous, bubbling sound, like a thousand happy fountains. It was the most wonderfully absurd thing, seeing all these stern faces dissolve into pure, unadulterated mirth. We were all just laughing together, a spontaneous, joyful connection that felt so utterly right. What a thought to wake up to!
