I found myself standing in what felt like a vast, unblemished hall, stretching impossibly wide and high, lit by a soft, diffused light that seemed to emanate from everywhere and nowhere. It was like an indoor golf course designed by a minimalist deity – emerald green turf, impossibly pristine, and a quietude so profound it felt like a command. In my hands, I held a peculiar vessel, brimming with what I instinctively knew was "torpid golf." It wasn't balls, but a shimmering, viscous liquid, slow-moving and heavy, the colour of deep jade shot through with flecks of molten gold. My entire being was focused on containing it, on guiding this sluggish, glowing substance into a perfectly carved channel that snaked across the immaculate floor; the unspoken rule was absolute order, absolute precision.

The air thrummed with an invisible tension, a pressure to maintain perfect command, to flawlessly execute my task. Every fibre of my being was dedicated to this act of control, of shaping the world, however small, to my unwavering vision. But the torpid golf itself seemed to defy me; it oozed with a lazy, deliberate resistance, clinging to the edges of its container, refusing to flow with the dictated grace. I could feel the edges of my dominion slipping, the rigid expectation I held for myself beginning to crack under the weight of this stubborn, beautiful, inert material. And then, despite my frantic, silent commands, despite my desperate mental pleas for stability, it began to spill.

It wasn't a violent splash, but a slow, inexorable overflow, a thick, luminous trail of goo oozing down the side of the vessel, staining the pristine turf in shimmering streaks. A profound, icy dread seeped into my core; the order was broken, the perfect vision marred, and I, the one meant to impose absolute control, had failed spectacularly. The hushed perfection of the hall seemed to magnify my inadequacy, each glowing drop a testament to a loss of command, a fractured will. The dream ended with the unsettling sensation that not only had I spilled the golf, but I had also, in that single clumsy moment, allowed a meticulously constructed internal empire to crumble.
