Dream of the Day

Mood: cheerful | Archetype: Jester
Elements: sudden eel swell

Dream Illustration

I was in this bright, sun-drenched meadow, feeling utterly content, a light breeze rustling through nonexistent hair. Everything was just *so*. Then, out of the corner of my eye, I saw it – a slippery, iridescent eel, zipping across the grass towards me with an almost purposeful wiggle. Before I could even blink, it didn't just slither past, it *pounced*, somehow, right into my belly button, like a playful, electric dart.

And then, the most wondrous thing happened! Instead of pain or surprise, a bubbling, joyful warmth spread through me. I wasn't *eating* the eel, no, I was *swelling* it! It wasn't growing *inside* me, but *with* me, like we were both expanding in a delightful, elastic dance. My whole being puffed up like a happy balloon, rounder and jollier with each passing moment, my laugh echoing with the sound of a thousand tiny, effervescent bubbles.

The world looked so much funnier and brighter from this new, wonderfully rotund perspective. It felt like shedding an old skin without even trying, just by embracing this ridiculous, unprompted expansion. I was a walking, giggling testament to the absolute joy of the unexpected, a living, breathing punchline, ready to burst with cheer and the sheer absurdity of it all. It was utterly, perfectly, magnificently silly.
